1. You must be 18 years or older to purchase alcohol-based products from

The certificate of cask ownership and these Terms and Conditions comprise the contract of sale for the purchase of new make spirit between Pendle Witch Distillery Limited, a company registered in England under number 12836550, whose registered office address is Mentor House, Ainsworth Street, Blackburn, Lancashire, United Kingdom, BB1 6AY (hereinafter referred to as the Supplier, CDC, our, us and we) and a Customer (also referred to as you or your, purchaser and owner).
3. The casks are only available for purchase by individuals or small groups. We require a single point of contact who will be the legal owner of the cask. Ownership can be transferred to another, single named owner.
4. Payment is due before the cask is filled and bottling costs will be required prior to bottling.
5. The wooden cask is the property of the purchaser unless bottling with us, then it becomes the property of Pendle Witch Distillery.
6. Final bottle volumes will depend on cask type, age and the ABV that the whisky is finally bottled at.
7. Storage fees are charged separately on an annual basis.

8. Insurance fees are included in the purchase price.
9. Casks are stored with other stock at our bonded warehouse.
10. It is the responsibility of the cask owner to advise the company of any changes of address or ownership in writing.
11. You are welcome to visit your cask, but this must be done strictly by appointment only. We request a month’s notice for both private cask visits and cask sampling. We are a busy working distillery and there will be times when visits may not be possible.
12. The whisky cask is purchased in an individual capacity for own use, not for resale to an individual or bottler.
13. Pricing is subject to UK duty and VAT which is subject to change by HMRC with no notice.
14. Bottling will be carried out by Pendle Witch Distillery at the prevailing cost at the time of bottling. The cask must be bottled in its entirety. We require a minimum of 90 days’ notice of the owner’s intention to bottle their cask. On completion of bottling we can deliver at the prevailing rate to a UK address, or the cask owner can arrange for collection of the bottles.
15. Pendle Witch Distillery and all associated logos, designs and devices are the property of Pendle Witch Distillery Limited.
16. At the conclusion of the sale the liquid becomes the property of the customer and is held in bond and insured as per terms 7 and 8 above.

18. All information about asset purchases on our website and social media sites is for information purposes only. No information provided should be taken as financial advice on asset investment. If you wish to obtain financial advice on asset investments, you should seek the assistance of a qualified financial advisor before carrying out your purchase through Pendle Witch Distillery.
19. Pendle Witch Distillery employees and agents are not tax advisors and cannot advise on the tax benefits of asset investment. If you require tax advice on asset investment, you should seek the advice of a qualified tax advisor.
20. Information provided by Pendle Witch Distillery is of a purely general nature, and it does not always relate to trades, sales or returns carried out or achieved by Pendle Witch Distillery.
21. As with all investments, an asset’s value can go up and down.
22. All casks are stored within HMRC-bonded warehouses and are subject to strict rules and regulations set by HMRC. Pendle Witch Distillery may occasionally require certain information from you to comply with HMRC requirements.
